Plan your next local gathering in the City Hall Basement, a community rental space at 400 North Broad Street. Contact the City Office to discuss your date, access, and the needs of your event.

Booking your space

• The 2024 rental policy lists a $50 rental fee, payable when you collect the key. Confirm current fees and availability before booking.
• Complete the rental agreement with your contact details, organization, event date, and time.
• If your plans change, call 304-872-1211 promptly to cancel.

Leave it ready for the next gathering

• Remove food, beverages, and trash, including restroom trash.
• Sweep floors, mop spills, and wipe down and return tables and chairs.
• Arrange the required end-of-event inspection and return the key. The policy lists a $50 daily charge when inspection and key return are outstanding.

Before you arrive

Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited under this policy. Supervise children, use only rental and public areas, and do not copy or lend keys to unauthorized people. Renters are responsible for damage and missing items.
