“Annual Spring Cleanup”

The City of Summersville annual spring cleanup is as follows:

WARDS 1 and 2:  April 3-7, 2023

WARDS 3 and 4:  April 10-14, 2023

Please get your items out as early in the week as possible.

Call City Hall 304-872-1211 to request pick-up.

Allowable:  furniture; appliances; and other large items.  (Appliances containing Freon must have a certification sticker that the Freon has been removed.)

Unallowable:  regular garbage; leaves; brush; tires; construction debris.

This service is only for the citizens that live within the corporate limits of Summersville.  It is illegal for anyone outside city limits to bring items into the city for pickup.  If you are unsure of your Ward, please call City Hall.
