My name is David Harper. I am your council man for Ward 3 I live at 605 Vaughn Ave. I am proud to represent the citizens of Summersville, West Virginia. My wife and I own three small businesses located here in out great small city. My experience in the business whelm of life gives me the confidence of being able to share the values and represent the interest of the fine citizens of Summersville especially ward three. My office is always open for comments or suggestions. If you want a good feeling, just drive thru our town early in the morning at sunrise. Take notice of our old courthouse, barber shop, and business along the street. Don’t miss Fran’s Restaurant and our city office. How neat and proud our citizens are with their homes and yards.  I am Eugene "Gene" Underwood, your City Councilman for Ward IV. I have been a resident of Summersville for 41 years. My wife, Hazel Underwood, have been married for 49 years and we have two children, Michelle & Michael. I also have two wonderful Granddaughters, Brittnee and Mattison. As your Councilman, my goals are to: 1.) Increase police patrols in our neighborhoods. 2.) Increase support for our future; our children & grandchildren 3.) Working with the rest of City Council to continue the support of the Nicholas County Senior Center. I have invested 41 years of my life to the Summersville Community, now that I am retired I am eager to begin to dedicate more time to listen & help with your concerns. I live on Alderson avenue with my wife Linda Sue. I have four children, eight grandchildren, and now one great grand daughter. I am involved in many organizations here in town such as: the Old Main Foundation, the Nicholas County Senior Center, and the Summersville Forestry Council. I enjoy representing my neighbors on city council, and am very proud of the fact they have returned that gratitude by re-electing me to another term. During this term one of my main goals is to help in the process of getting many of our sidewalks repaired. I fell this will add both beauty and convenience to our citizens and visitors. I am one of the Councilman representing Ward I here in Summersville. My wife, Donna, and I have lived in Summersville for 30+years. We currently reside on Groves Street with our 13 year old Lhasa Apsa. I am a retired teacher (Coral Music Teacher) of the Nicholas County Schools and also the Director of Music at the Memorial United Methodist Church here in Summersville.
