The City of Summersville challenged the 8th grade english classes at Summersville Middle School to write an essay for the front page of our new website.

   Summersville is the ideal place for both comfort and excitement.  Summersville is peacefully nestled in the middle of most of West Virginia's tourist attractions.  Rafting, biking, and hiking are some of the most enjoyed activities.  If you have a passion for hunting, then this is the place for hunting wild game.  Feel like relaxing?  Then rent or take your own boat out on Summersville Lake.  If you feel like crowds, then we have Bridge Day once a year.  Even though Summersville is quiet, it is still an adventure!
